Genealogy & Family History Workshops
The Ohio History Connection collaborates with the Franklin County Genealogical and Historical Society and the Columbus Metropolitan Library to offer a series of workshops designed to introduce family researchers to the many records and resources available to them. Some upcoming topics include researching family history in the Civil War and finding naturalization records. Visit the Archives/Library's Genealogy Workshops page for more information.
Professional Development for Teachers
We offer professional development for any number of teachers across the humanities' content areas, including history, social studies, English language arts and fine arts. Our webinars are the perfect opportunity for individual teachers to learn more about particular content, see how to translate that content inform their classroom and interact virtually with other teachers. We can also provide professional development at the school or district level catered to your particular needs.
Professional development at the Ohio History Connection is provided by the Creative Learning Factory. For more information, including our latest workshops and webinars, visit: www.creativelearningfactory.org or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
