Wednesdays • 12:30 p.m.–3 p.m.

Thursdays • 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

Fridays • 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

The Archives & Library will be closed Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in observance of Juneteenth.

The Archives & Library will be closed Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of Independence Day.

The Archives & Library will be closed to the public during the run of the 2024 Ohio State Fair, Wednesday, July 24 – Friday August 2, 2024.


Our phone lines are not monitored; voicemail is returned most Thursdays and Fridays during normal business hours (EST).

Note Regarding 1954-1970 Death Certificate Orders

Online orders for 1954-1970 death certificates have resumed.
Please note that on-site access to certificates in that range continues to be suspended.
