FYI, our main elevator is currently undergoing repairs. The Archives & Library is located on the 3rd floor and there are stairwells that will be accessible.
The Archives & Library will be closed Wednesday, December 20 - Friday, December 22, 2023, and Wednesday, December 27 - Friday, December 29, 2023, providing staff time to focus on data entry and collections maintenance projects.
Our phone lines are not monitored; voicemail is returned most Thursdays and Fridays during normal business hours (EST).
As we work to restore service in response to a network issue, we are temporarily suspending new orders of 1954-1970 death certificates. Orders for death certificates in that range will resume January 2, 2024. If you have an existing order in the queue, we are working our way through the queue in order received and it may be some time before yours is filled.
