Bird Taxidermy Migrates to New Home
Our bird taxidermy specimens are on the move! We’ve moved and unpacked 442 birds; that’s a lot of feathers! Now, our most fragile specimens are stored in a stable environment.
OK. I hope this might be a challenge for many of you but one that perhaps some of you might be able to hit upon. This photo was taken a year ago June at Sheldon’s Marsh State Nature Preserve, which is in Erie County about two miles west of Huron, Ohio.
Clue #1. Most of what you see are sand grains.
Clue #2. Count the number of eyes, which will tell you what it is not. Good luck!
