Volunteers: The Heart of Archaeology

This post is dedicated to the people without whom we could not function: our hard working, talented, dedicated and loyal volunteers.

These behind the scenes members of our OHS family work on various types of projects and provide valuable support to the staff. For instance, Melanie Pratt (picture one) is entering in collection information into the database. And (picture two from bottom right, clockwise) John Stottlemyer, Joe Dunn, DonGehlbach, Tim Johnson, Michael Dion and James Keane) are enjoying their time cleaning artifacts.

Volunteer opportunities are available Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 8:30 am -12:00 Noon. Of particular need at the present time are data entry operators. If you are interested in joining in on the fun, please contact Martha Otto at [email protected] or 614-297-2641. You also can go the the OHS on-line application form.
