Ohio Memory in the News


An Ohio Memory partner, Shannon Kupfer at the State Library of Ohio, has an article about about the project in the November 2010 issue of Computers in Libraries.

Abstract: The article provides information on the Ohio Memory project of the Ohio Historical Society and the State Library of Ohio. It is a repository for more than 75,000 digital items, such as photographs, journals and archived web content. It was launched in 2002, as part of Ohio’s bicentennial anniversary. The original version was conceptualized by the Ohio Historical Records Advisory Board (OHRAB), who handles historical records planning in the state. You can access the complete article online through EBSCOHost General/News Databases. EBSCO databases are available through many public libraries.
