Happy 4th of July from Bingo the Bicentennial Dog!

Bingo the Bicentennial Dog was dressed to celebrate on July 4, 1976. This photograph was entered in the “Spirit of Ohio” photography contest sponosored by the Ohio American Revolution Bicentennial Advisory Commission.

If you don’t feel inclined to dress up your pets, there are many other ways to celebrate the 4th of July and support Ohio history.  You can attend  The Glorious Fourth celebration in the Ohio Village or visit one of the Historical Society’s sites across the state.
