The Clintonville Historical Society is sponsoring an “Archaeology 101” workshop on Sunday, December 8th from 2:30 to 4:00 PM at 3468 North High Street in Clintonville. It is being presented by Catherine Gullett, an archaeologist on the staff of the engineering firm EMH&T. According to an article in This Week Community News, the workshop “will focus on excavations completed in the 1950s in the Blenheim Road area as part of a housing development.” There is a $5 fee for the workshop unless you’re a member of the Clintonville Historical Society, in which case the fee is $2. For more information, check out the Clintonville Historical Society’s Facebook page.
