AMA — NEWARK EARTHWORKS AND HOPEWELL TRADITION

Newark AMAIn case you didn’t get the chance to participate in today’s “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) on the Reddit AskHistorians forum with Dr. Richard Shiels and myself, here is a link to the entire free-wheeling discussion. Dick and I were kept pretty busy for the duration of the forum and the questions were informed and interesting. Our moderator had concerns that “…since this is an under-represented portion of history” the readers might not “know where to even begin with questions.” At the conclusion of the forum, he frankly admitted that their readers proved him wrong. Speaking for myself, I’d be happy to do more of these, but if you have any questions about the Newark Earthworks or Hopewell archaeology, you don’t have to wait for an AMA. You can ask me anything simply by putting your question into a comment on this post. Brad Lepper
