Earlier this year, Archives Services intern Taylor Grzesiek shared her efforts to identify several women photographed in the Columbus Citizen-Journal who were listed only by their husbands’ names.

Below, you'll find some images and preliminary research notes for individuals Taylor wasn't able to identify during her internship.

If you're able to sleuth out any of these women's full names, please contact us!

We would love to update our records to represent them more accurately in our archives catalog.

In her previous blog, Taylor identified Ruth Saenger, president of the Columbus League of Women Voters from 1961-1963.

Mrs. Carl Weinman

Mrs. Carl Weinman of Steubenville, Ohio, was elected President of the Ohio Federation of Women’s Clubs in 1958.

Mrs. Jerry Ryan

This 1968 photograph identifies Mrs. Jerry Ryan as the mayor's receptionist.

Mrs. James Reece

In 1970, Mrs. James Reece was president of Kinder Key, an auxiliary supporting the Heart Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
