Interested in Ohio Courthouses?

Two recent articles about county courthouses in the Columbus Dispatch and USA Today reminded me that Ohio’s county courthouses have long been a popular subject for amateur and professional photographers. As the articles note, many courthouses are architecturally significant and historic buildings, but they can be difficult to preserve. Listed below are collections containing images of Ohio’s county courthouses at the Ohio Historical Society. These slides and photographs of Ohio’s county courthouses are available to researchers in the Archives/Library reading room at the Ohio Historical Center in Columbus.
