SHPO Copy & Scan Request

Ohio’s State Historic Preservation Office conducts project reviews required under federal and state preservation laws and facilitates access to research materials and historic property records created through these regulatory processes. These services support agencies, consultants, and others involved in preservation planning and compliance.

Important: To successfully fulfill your order, it is essential that you provide accurate information about the specific records you are requesting. Please review the record descriptions carefully before submitting your request. NOTE: In addition to ordering National Register nominations from us, you can access them for free at the following repositories: nominations listed from 1966 through the end of 2012 are available at the National Archives, and nominations listed from 2013 through 2018 are available at NPGallery.

When ordering 10 or more documents from our office, we ask that you provide your request in an Excel (.xlsx) spreadsheet. This helps us process your order more efficiently. Please ensure that your spreadsheet contains one row for each document and includes the following details:

  1. Address
  2. City
  3. County
  4. NRHP Reference #, OAI or OHI #, NADB #, or OHPOID #
  5. Project Name (if known)
  6. Additional Information

Historic Tax Credit Application(s) (Federal & State)

Provide the full street address, city, and county for each application you are requesting.

Tax Credit Applications may consist of a Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 application (narrative), photos, and drawings. Photographs are only provided if specifically requested. Drawings larger than 11x17 cannot be reproduced. Historic Tax Credit project materials contain sensitive information that will be redacted prior to duplication.

Note: Photographs are double-sided and will increase the time to complete the request.

Historic Tax Credit Applications, Part 1, 2 and/or 3:
$0.25 per page plus a $10.00 processing fee per project (processing fee covers the cost of expenses related to the fulfillment of your order), 5-10 business days per project
