Lustron Home Collections

Between 1947 and 1950, the Lustron Corporation built more than 2,000 porcelain steel homes in their Columbus, Ohio factory. In an innovative attempt to address the postwar housing shortage, Lustron shipped their small, prefabricated houses to customers and assembled them onsite. Interested in learning more?
