COLUMBUS, Ohio – Kevin Boehner has been named the new Director of Government Relations for the Ohio History Connection.
Boehner joined the organization, which functions as the state’s nonprofit history partner, on Dec. 5.
“We are excited to have Kevin join the team at the Ohio History Connection,” said Executive Director and CEO Megan Wood. “He has several years of experience in establishing guidance for business growth in Ohio, and he also has worked at the Statehouse. The skills he brings will be essential in helping us continue to preserve Ohio’s history and spark discovery of its many stories.”
Boehner most recently was Director of Small Business and Workforce Policy for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce for five years. He also worked for former state Rep. Jeffery Rezabek in the Ohio House of Representatives before that.
He graduated from the Ohio State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in political science and a minor in history, with a focus on American history.
Boehner and his wife have one daughter.
