The Hopewell Culture is known for tracking both solar and lunar alignments in their earthen structures. Come watch the Winter Solstice sun rise through the solstice gap in the mound walls and observe the alignment with us!
Gates open at 7:30 am. Sunrise is predicted to be around 7:50 am.
A free museum tour will follow the sunrise at 8:30 am.
