Join us at the Octagon Earthworks Visitor Center for a Hands-On Textiles Workshop!

We’re excited to welcome Keith Bengtson from Fort Ancient Earthworks and Nature Preserve to the Octagon Earthworks for a special, in‑depth workshop exploring the art and tradition of American Indian textiles.

Keith will guide participants through:

• Examples of Midwest Native plants traditionally used for fiber
• Demonstrations of processing natural fibers
• Step-by-step instruction to create your very own twined bag
