Conestoga, the Ohio History Connection's volunteer fundraising organization, hosts a talk by Lucas George, the 2022 Ohio History Teacher of the Year.

George, a classroom teacher and social studies department chair at Lakeview Junior High in Pickerington, will share his passion for helping students understand why history is important while teaching them how to build a capacity for empathy and ways to participate in civil discourse.

His talk is included with Ohio History Center admission. Ohio History Connection members enjoy free admission.
