The Wapakoneta Summer Moon Festival, held at the Armstrong Air & Space Museum and downtown, celebrates the legacy of Neil Armstrong and the historic Apollo 11 moon landing. Featuring space-themed activities, games, educational programming and a vibrant community atmosphere, the festival honors Wapakoneta’s proud place in space exploration history. Main events take place on the weekend.
