Campus Martius is staying open late! During these evening hours, visitors will have a chance to experience something unique at the museum. March is Women’s History Month and we will be highlighting women throughout the building.

What will be offered? Join Maggie Webster for a weaving demonstration and receive your own mini weaving kit. Talk to Dave Baker about the triumphs of early settlers Mary Gardner Owen and Mary Bird Lake. Listen as Jan Rary describes what pioneer living was like for Persis Putnam. Glance over pieces from our collections room with Director of Museum Operations, Christy Welsh.

Kids will also be given scavenger hunts to keep them curious and the full museum will be open for general touring. We look forward to seeing you here!
