This civilian reenactment captures the life of toiling tradespeople on the frontier of fledgling Ohio. The weekend features a full schedule of demonstrations, presentations, and showcases detailing the skilled work of blacksmithing, soap making, leather working, candle production, tinsmithing, woodworking, and cloth. Early bake ovens and 19th century fashion are also discussed alongside the military presence of the army at Fort Meigs.
