Get a rare chance to see Fort Meigs in the after hours darkness in this two-hour guided tour. The military themed tour focuses on the War of 1812 and the army’s activities after sundown. Meet soldiers as they re-create camplife and sleeping conditions, discuss overnight guard postings and alarms. Additional lectures focus on the night bombardment of Fort Meigs during its historic spring and summer sieges in 1813. Musicians also perform the Retreat and Tattoo ceremonies.
