Autumnal Equinox Tours at Serpent Mound

In observance of the Autumnal Equinox, Serpent Mound will host guided site tours on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Tours will begin at the Serpent Mound Visitor Center at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 3:00 pm and will last one hour. Parking is $8/ per vehicle.

Dr. Robert Riordan Lecture on the Moorehead Circle: A Ceremonial Center at Fort Ancient

Dr. Riordan will describe the discovery of Moorehead Circle by remote sensing within the Fort Ancient Earthwork in 2005. The Moorehead Circle was archaeologically investigated between 2006- 2016.
