Students will receive guided tours of both the Great Circle and Octagon in the 3-hour experience with content that meets both fourth and fifth grade social studies standards and educational outcomes. Together we will explore what defines a culture and the Indigenous monuments that brought peoples together 2000 years ago from hundreds of miles away! We'll demonstrate the knowledge and skill involved in building earthworks and how people connected to one another physically and culturally. This trip is also perfect for high school and university students in classes focusing on science, mathematics and architecture!
