The Hopewell Culture is known for tracking both solar and lunar alignments in their earthen structures. Come watch the Winter Solstice sun rise through the mounds and observe the alignment with us!

Gates open at 7 a.m. Sun rise is predicted to be around 7:50am. The museum will be open 7–10am. Site grounds and hiking trails will be open 7 a.m.–5pm.
