  • Try your hand at early movie magic and test your acting chops with vintage horror movie reels
  • Discover some toxic taxidermy and learn about historic methods of animal preservation and compare it with our equally creepy methods of modern preservation!
  • Learn about Ohio's own creatures of the night, and how important they are to our ecosystem with animals from the Ohio Wildlife Center
  • Step back in time with a midcentury monster mash at the Lustron House
  • Meet Ohio's cyrtids with our resident cryptozoologists. Explore the history of unknown creatures from Ohio like the Lake Erie monster, the Grassman and The Loveland Frogman.
  • Explore the origins of American Halloween celebrations through time
  • Weave a web of spooky stories with time travelling tales and storytelling games
  • Learn how to make apple cider the old-fashioned way; picking the apples, pressing the fruit, and inspecting the final result!
  • It’s been said fashion kills – but we have the examples to prove it! Learn about some deadly fashion and the lengths people would go for haute couture.
  • Hear from Dr. Katherine Ranum who will present about a Ghost Hospital
  • End the evening with a dance party on the red carpet!

Family-friendly costumes are encouraged. No adults wearing masks and no props in the shape of weapons, please.
