Ohio Village

A recreated 19th-century Ohio community

In Ohio Village we engage the senses through interaction with history.

Our goal is to share stories and connect communities, fostering an exchange of experiences that are personal and powerful.

Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the entire family can explore Ohio Village’s 18 buildings including the General Store, Toy Shop, Pharmacy, and even then Undertakers. Enjoy heirloom gardens, playing games on the village green – but be careful, or one of our Village Residents might just put you to work!

Admission to Ohio Village is included with your admission to The Ohio History Center.

Ohio Village is the home field of the Ohio Village Muffins, a vintage base ball (yes, two words) club that plays by the rules of the 1860s. See the Muffins' schedule and come see a match.

Ohio Village is also the setting for numerous eventsdinner programs and educational programs throughout the year, including our popular Pleasures of the Cup cocktail events.

Field Trips to the Ohio History Center or Ohio Village are welcome all year round.
