2026 Ohio Open Doors Event Registration

Use this form to register your event. Thank you for participating in Ohio Open Doors 2026.

Event submissions are reviewed by Ohio Open Doors staff prior to inclusion in the Ohio Open Doors events page and the Ohio History Connection online events calendar. Entries may be edited for brevity and clarity.

Before you begin

Check your event information

  • Make sure all information about your event is accurate. Incomplete or inaccurate information will delay listing of your event.
  • Allow up to two weeks for approved events to appear on the Ohio Open Doors events page and the Ohio History Connection events calendar.

One event per entry

Please submit one event per entry. If you are hosting multiple events, each event must be registered separately. This helps ensure that each event receives its own calendar listing. Participating events may receive Ohio Open Doors promotional materials (while supplies last).

Community-wide programs

If you are coordinating a community-wide Ohio Open Doors program with events at multiple locations, submit a separate entry for each location.

Example: If your convention and visitors bureau is coordinating open houses at several historic buildings across your community, each open house should be registered as a separate event. Event descriptions can still reference the larger community program.

  • If your events are connected geographically or thematically, note that connection in each event description.

Save your progress

If you do not have all the information yet, that’s okay. Click "Save and Continue Later" at the bottom of the form to save your progress.

Once you have the information requested, this form should take approximately 15–30 minutes to complete.

Questions?

If we have any questions about your event, we will contact you. Your timely response will help us post your event quickly. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected] or call 614.298.2000.
