Dr. Robert Mainfort is coming to Hopewell Culture National Historical Park on Thursday June 12th at 7:30 PM to share his ideas about Pinson Mounds — a giant Hopewellian ceremonial center located in western Tennessee. The Pinson Mounds complex includes at least 13 mounds, a geometric earthen embankment, and contemporary short-term ritual occupation areas within an area of about 400 acres. For more information about this program, which is FREE and open to the public, check out the Hopewell Culture National Park’s webpage or give them a call at (614) 774-1126.
