Announcing the Northwest Ordinance History Grant Program
This grant supports projects in Ohio that commemorate, interpret, and celebrate the history, legacy, and impact of the Northwest Ordinance of 1787. Projects should increase public understanding of this pivotal event in U.S. history and highlight its connection to Ohio’s communities, culture, and heritage.
The program is administered by the Ohio History Connection’s (OHC) State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). OHC/SHPO staff will be available to assist applicants during the application process and to provide monitoring and support after awards are made.
