Collections Spotlight: Photographs from the Columbus Citizen-Journal
The newspaper's photograph collection gets a 2025 update, preserving more than 24,000 images and making them easier to access.
In the past two months the State Archives appraised records at the Attorney Generals Office, Ohio EPA, the Ohio Board of Regents, Department of Natural Resources, and met with legislative aides and staff of the General Assemblys House Clerks Office. State Archives staff also attended the fall meeting of CARMA, the County Archivists and Records Managers Association of Ohio, hosted this year by the Stark County Records Center in Canton. The primary purpose of the association is to provide a forum for professional discussion and information sharing among county records professionals in Ohio. Attendees discussed records management issues, toured the Stark County Records Center, and viewed a presentation on Family Search.
