Tour White Water Shaker Village!
Established in 1823, White Water is one of only 24 Shaker communal villages founded in the United States. The village is home to the nation’s only remaining Shaker brick meeting house, built in 1827 and notable for its unusual suspended truss system. A large dwelling was constructed next door in 1832.
During your visit, learn about daily Shaker life and the various businesses the community operated. Explore our collections of authentic Shaker goods and stroll the grounds to see the stable and historic outbuildings that remain from this 200‑year‑old village.
