Ever wonder what the process is to nominating your own home to the National Register of Historic Places? Join the Ashland County Historical Society Museum Specialist intern Ashley Denbow share her experience. Ashley has been with the historical society since January 2026, and is currently completing her B.A./M.A. in History-Public History from Ohio State University. She will give some tips and lessons learned along the way to help you navigate the process from a researcher’s perspective.

This event is free and open to the public beginning at 6:00 p.m. We’ll have hors d’oeuvres available and the opportunity to visit the Freer Children’s Home.
