The Wapakoneta Summer Moon Festival, held at the Armstrong Air & Space Museum and downtown, celebrates the legacy of Neil Armstrong and the historic Apollo 11 moon landing. Featuring space-themed activities, games, educational programming and a vibrant community atmosphere, the festival honors Wapakoneta's proud place in space exploration history. This year, the museum is excited to have the Apollo 11 frogmen returning along with rides in the historic Ford-Tri Motor airplane at Neil Armstrong Airport.
This event is free and open to the public. Check back later for more information on our activity schedule for the year here.
