Led by elder community drummers, this vibrant celebration invites everyone to bring their drums, lawn chairs and coolers for a joyful day of fellowship, arts and culture. The event will feature interactive drum stations, local vendors, performing artists and food trucks, offering a dynamic and immersive cultural experience. Come celebrate the legacy of Poindexter Village as we honor its rich history and uplift the spirit of community!

A special announcement about the future museum, its design and expected timeline also is planned during the opening hour of the festivities.
