The 2022 Grand Illumination officially kicks-on at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25th, when the lights are turned on for the first time. The museum itself will be open as part of the event for guests to shop or visit from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
After the Grand Illumination, the lights will be on for guests to enjoy every night from dusk to dawn until the end of the year. Holiday lights will be spread periodically throughout the museum grounds and guests are encouraged to get out and walk around.
For the past several years, the light display is part of the Ohio Holiday Lights Trail, a compilation of the state’s most impressive light displays curated by Ohio. Find It Here., the state’s tourism division. This year’s holiday lights trail features over 40 locations across Ohio, the largest trail since its inception six years ago.
