Protected by Western Reserve Land Conservancy in 2018 through a partnership with dedicated conservation allies, Kister Mill has a rich history in the region. The mill uniquely served four milling operations: a woolen mill, sawmill, gristmill, and cider press. It also houses rare machinery used to craft custom mill parts that were shipped across the country. In addition, the 15-acre Kister Mill Greenway features natural habitats, tributary streams, and the original mill race that continues to fill the mill pond to power the mill’s water wheel. Come and visit this special piece of Wayne County’s natural and historic heritage.
