Ohio History Center & Ohio Village Interpretive Volunteer Training

Saturday, April 11 • 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Volunteer Orientation*
Kick off your volunteer experience by learning about the Ohio History Connection—our mission, core values, and the wide range of volunteer opportunities available. We’ll also cover essential training such as safety procedures, Code Adam, and the basics of interpretation. Snacks and water will be provided.

Thursday, April 16 • 5:00–7:00 p.m.
Interpretive Volunteer Training*
Discover how to support interpretive programs, including enhanced school tours and hands-on museum carts. This session is perfect for those interested in engaging directly with visitors.

* Training will take place at the Ohio History Center, located at 800 E. 17th Ave, Columbus, OH.
