See the Georgetown as the General of the Army and our 18th president did in his youth. Our event will be on September 12 from Noon until 5PM. All three of our U.S. Grant sites will be available. The Grant Homestead & One-room School will be open for tours. The Tannery has just had the exterior finished but the interior is not open to the public yet. The Tanney’s transformation takes it back to 1823. Be among the first to hear the stories of tanning, Ulysses’ hate for its sights and sounds there, and a murder!
