Originally built in 1899, the iconic 84,193-square-foot Strietmann Center in Over-the-Rhine was the home of the Strietmann Biscuit company until the 1940”s. Zesta Crackers and chocolate chip cookies were invented here.

Effectively vacant for nearly seventy years, Grandin Properties bought and renovated the building in 2016. Renovation highlights include LEED Gold Certification, solar panels (only panels on any Cincinnati office building), preservation of fire doors and original executive offices. The renovation won a Preservation Merit Award from the State Historic Preservation Office of the Ohio History Connection in 2025.

The tour will showcase the Strietmann Center’s remarkable transformation, a visit to Red Tree Coffee Shop, the Grandin Properties offices, and access to the Penthouse rooftop, where guests can enjoy one of the most spectacular panoramic views of the Cincinnati skyline.
