Bohemian National Hall still stands as a rare monument to the dream of Czechland immigrants who built it in 1897 and their progeny & friends who are lovingly preserving it. The Hall has been a significant center for Czech & Slovak culture & a participant in world historic events such as the creation & signing of the fundamental document leading to the founding of Czechoslovakia. The Hall was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 & is designated as one of Cleveland’s historic landmarks. Since 1976 it has actively been the home of Sokol Greater Cleveland with its gymnastics & Czech Cultural Center featuring a museum, library, grand ballroom, dining halls and historic displays throughout. We are opening the doors for self-guided tours with informational handouts & knowledgeable members available at designated areas for questions. Light ethnic refreshments available.
