Celebrate Ohio Open Doors with a special open house at the Museum of Troy History, located in the historic John Kitchen House, a brick residence built in 1847. Explore exhibits that tell the story of Troy and Miami County’s past, including displays highlighting local businesses, education, and everyday life through the generations.
Visitors will also be among the first to view a new exhibit created by The Troy Historical Society’s Young Historians. Through artifacts, historic sources, dairy bottles, and period advertisements, the exhibit explores the history of dairies in Miami County and their role in the region’s development. Researched and developed by local students, the exhibit offers a fresh perspective on an important chapter of local history.
