Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a guided walking tour of six historic churches in downtown Sidney. Participants will explore the rich architectural, religious, and community history of these landmark congregations and learn how they have contributed to the development of the city through the years.

Following the tour, community members are invited to a free patriotic concert at First Presbyterian Church commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. Attendance at the walking tour is not required to enjoy the concert.

Additional Considerations

  • Advance registration is required; space is limited.
  • This is a walking tour lasting approximately two hours.
  • The tour begins at the Ross Historical Center.
  • Tour participants should park in the Amos Memorial Library parking lot.
  • Parking for concert attendees is available behind First Presbyterian Church.
  • Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
