History comes alive at the Strongsville Historical Society! Our America250 Open House invites you to explore our Historical Village and celebrate 250 years of American independence with a uniquely local story to tell.

Discover our new America250 exhibit showcasing Strongsville’s pivotal role in settling Ohio’s Western Reserve. Pin your family’s origins on our world heritage map, sign a tribute star in our military veterans’ exhibit, and pose for a photo reenacting the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Then wander through our eight historic buildings on three acres housing artifacts spanning 200 years of community life.
