Explore Kent’s historic River and Gougler Streets through this Ohio Open Doors walking tour of landmark buildings and the stories behind them. You’re welcome to begin your visit at this location or any of the other tour stops—just choose your starting point when registering.

Completed in 1868 on land donated by Marvin Kent, this historic church has been an important part of the community since its founding. The building reflects the early development of Kent and remains one of the city’s long-standing places of worship still in use today.
