Join us for a free, family-friendly day of discovery at Flint Ridge! Hands-on activities begin at 11 a.m. at the shelter house and continue throughout the afternoon.

Our partners from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) will offer interactive experiences for all ages. We are also inviting the Licking County Library Mobile Library to join us, tying into this year’s summer reading theme of archaeology, paleontology, and geology.

Guided tours will be offered at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., exploring the geology of flint and how Indigenous peoples skillfully used this natural resource to create tools for daily life.

Participants should dress appropriately for this outdoor event and are encouraged to wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and have plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, and bug spray.

Come explore, learn, and discover with us!
