Join us for a free, family-friendly day of discovery at Flint Ridge! The museum will be open free of charge from 10 a.m.–4 p.m., with hands-on activities beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the shelter house and continuing throughout the afternoon.
Our partners from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) will offer interactive experiences for all ages. We are also inviting the Licking County Library Mobile Library to join us, tying into this year’s summer reading theme of archaeology, paleontology and geology.
Guided tours will be offered at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., exploring the geology of flint and how Indigenous peoples skillfully used this natural resource to create tools for daily life.
Come explore, learn, and discover with us!
