Like many of Ohio's earliest settlers, John Johnston was of Scots-Irish descent. In the 1830's, many Irish immigrants came into the state to help build the canal system. These families brought many of their traditions with them. This event celebrates those traditions. Experience live music on stage, food trucks and arts and craft vendors. Walk through an early frontier encampment and watch participants engage in highland games. Crafts and activities for kids make this a fun, family event.
