At Flint Ridge, students can immerse themselves in the natural world and explore the past through hands-on activities and guided tours that engage their senses and imagination. The activities and content are designed to meet fourth grade social studies standards and educational goals. Students will spend three hours, including a lunch break, with educators at Flint Ridge exploring the natural resources that brought Indigenous peoples to the region, the daily life of Indigenous peoples prior to European contact and the tools and technologies that peoples created with the resources around them. Students will leave with Ohio's state gemstone in their pockets: Flint Ridge flint!

Cost is $8 per student with a minimum group of 15 students (teachers and chaperones are free of charge). A flat rate of $120 will be charged for groups with less than 15 participants.
