I Found it in the Archives: Submit Your Story! – May 5, 2017

Have you ever discovered a real treasure in the Ohio History Connection’s Archives?  Tracked down details about an elusive ancestor? Found a new piece of information that made you say “hey, that’s cool!” ?  We invite you to share your story during the seventh year of the I Found It In the Archives! Contest.

The Ohio History Connection is participating in the Society of Ohio Archivists statewide competition again in 2017.  We will be accepting written or video submissions now through July 11, 2017. Written entries should be under 400 words, video entries under two minutes.

To enter, fill out this form and send your stories by e-mail to [email protected] or by US postal service to: Ohio History Connection, ATTN: Amanda Rindler, 800 E. 17th Ave., Columbus, OH, 43211-2474.

The winner of the Ohio History Connection’s contest will be announced on August 1, 2017. The winning entry will then be submitted to the Society of Ohio Archivists’ statewide competition.

And don’t forget, if you win, there’s some great prizes in store (besides bragging rights of course). We will be announcing these soon, so please stay tuned to this blog for all your I Found it in the Archives information!  We’ve announced this year’s exciting prizes right here on the blog.
