HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM THE ARCHAEOLOGY STAFF AT THE OHIO HISTORICAL SOCIETY!

While organizing the correspondence files of the Archaeology Unit, our intern Emily Riggins came across a Christmas card addressed to former Curator of Archaeology Raymond Baby. It is a hand-made card from W. Byron Ireland & Associates and it dates to 1966.

That’s actually a significant date in the history of the Ohio Historical Society — and W. Byron Ireland & Associates played a key role in that history. They were the architects that designed the current Ohio History Center and the ground-breaking for construction began in 1966.

We wish everyone a happy holiday season and offer this card for your enjoyment.
