The Ohio Statehouse is free and open to the public. Parking is available for a fee in the Statehouse Underground Parking Garage. Non-commercial photography is permitted, most tour locations are accessible by elevator, but some hallways are narrow and have limited accessibility. The Statehouse can provide an American Sign Language interpreter with advanced notice (please email [email protected] for an ASL interpreter).

Join a Tour du Jour of the Ohio Statehouse during the week of September 14-18! Each day’s specialty tour will start in the Map Room at noon and will focus on a unique topic while exploring different parts of the state capitol. Every tour will include information and locations that are not typically featured on public tours. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the beautiful Capitol Square grounds, women who played instrumental roles in the history of state government, and more! The tours will last approximately 75 minutes with additional time to explore the Museum Gallery. Guests should expect to be mostly walking and standing during their Open Doors visit. The Tour du Jour experience is recommended for visitors ages 10 and older.
